Dan and his father, Dr. John Rooney, are principals in Rooney & Associates which has operated several golf courses around the country. John and Dan have spent their lives working together and playing the game they love. Dr. Rooney is a professor emeritus at Oklahoma State University. He is the author of seven books and has spent his life mentoring college students. An avid player and five handicap, Dr. Rooney is one of nation's leading demographic authorities in the golf industry. He has consulted with hundreds of companies in golf including Golf Digest, TaylorMade, Nike, Titleist, and Footjoy. Dan is a PGA golf professional, an F-16 pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, and founder of The Folds of Honor Foundation and Patriot Golf Day.
